A Fantastic opportunity to join one of WA’s most innovative human services organisations and to support clients with diverse and sometimes complex needs. Together, we really can make a difference in this person’s life! We have casual shifts available Monday – Sunday in the following areas: - Augusta - Margaret River - Busselton We are seeking Support Workers who: - are experienced or show a keen interest in working with a range of our clients in the community supporting their day-to-day personal care and social needs. - Can commit to a rotational fortnightly roster which could include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and some inactive overnight shifts. A snapshot of your day as our Community Support Worker: With Clients across the region, every day looks a little different. But there will be a few core activities that you will become a pro at as you provide fabulous, person-centred care such as: - Social support activities in the home and community settings - Providing personal care to our clients when required (showering, dressing) - Medication assistance - Cooking, cleaning, and other household chores (the small stuff makes a huge difference!) Our ‘must haves’: - A genuine passion to make a difference - Verification of fully COVID-19 vaccinated (or willing to obtain). - MyGov COVID-19 Certificate - NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Check (or willing to obtain post interview) - NDIS Orientation Module (online) Certificate (upon application) - Current Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence with no restrictions - Reliable, roadworthy, licensed and fully insured vehicle - Visa details (if required) - Working With Children Card (if required) Our ‘nice to haves’: -Provide First Aid certificate less than 12 months old (training can be provided) - Experience in the industry - A Certificate III or higher in a relevant discipline Let us tell you a little about what you’ll get in return for joining our team: Competitive salary - SCHADS Award pay rates and conditions of employment for both permanent and casual employees - Salary Packaging - use some of your salary to pay for everyday expenses before income tax Flexible working: - Tell us what working arrangements work for you and we will find something that works for everyone.
