A connector facilitator can support you to become more connected in your community and within your own networks. You may like to join a local sporting club or volunteer your time to a local community organisation. You will be supported in a natural way so that you are able to make meaningful and valued contributions to chosen areas. You will be able develop and maintain social connections and relationships that may be based around your personal interests.
Jamie Haills and Angela Bennett
Jamie is a young man who receives support with the intention of facilitating good connections within the community.
Angela is part of Jamie’s team of support workers, and she is prepared to boost Jamie’s confidence while Jamie is meeting or interacting with others.
Being a Connector – Facilitator is the art of understanding when to participate in our client’s relationships with others to help and when to take a step back and let our clients practice their social skills on their own.
